UIDS.NT metring unit is a solution for metering the well flowrate in large oil fields when the wells are located at remote distances from the central facilities.
The UIDS.NT metring units are an alternative to the BIUS metering system and are intended for measuring volume, volumetric flowrate of crude oil, gas-liquid mixture and for measuring volumetric flowrate and volume of oil gas under operating conditions and recalculating them to standard conditions. The unit allows to measure the density under the operating conditions of the emulsion, oil, water, and then calculate their mass and mass flowrate

Gate valve with hydralic drive (ShZ-GP) is designed for periodic short-term opening of liquid (gas) line as well as for creating a pressure drop between the separator and the production header of the Sputnik automated group metering station. Station works with associated gas and petroleum products.
The design and components are presented in Fig. 1
The device consists of gate valve 1, hydraulic cylinder 2 and has connecting flanges 3 with size corresponding to the flanges of a standard wedge gate valve.
For shut-off the device uses gate 4, which is driven by the lever 5 through the roller 6. Lever 6 is driven through the eyelet 7 and the rod 8 by the hydraulic cylinder 2 when the hydraulic fluid is supplied to the sub-piston cavity. After connecting the sub-piston cavity with the drain, gate 4 under spring 9 action returns to its original position.
Adjustment of gate initial position is performed by screwing rod 10 into eyelet 7 and is locked by nut 11. Open position of gate is regulated by nut 12 and is locked by screw 13.

The need for the Sputnik AGZU metering unit modernization appeared due to the new national standard GOST R8.615-2005 "State system for ensuring the uniformity of measurements. The measuring of quantity of produced oil and petroleum gas. General metrological and technical requirements". Currently used AGZU metering untis do not meet the requirements of the standard in parameters to be measured and metrological characteristics. Units measure only volumetric flowrate of liquid while the standard requires transferring to standard conditions.
The upgrade solution of the Sputnik AGZU metering units includes the installation of Coriolis flowmeters, watercut meters.
Scope of upgrade work:
Technical inspection;
repair according to the results of the technical survey;
unit upgarde;
coupling of the process control system with the upper level.
Our company consistently deals with new technologies that solve the problems of flow rate measurements, fiscal oil metering, and accordingly, the manufacturing of all equipment kinds for the implementation of proposed new technologies.
The enterprise performs repair and modernization of measuring installations with reception of measurement results of oil wells production in accordance with the requirements of GOST 8.615 The measuring of quantity of taken produced oil and petroleum gas. General metrological and technical requirements.
Metering units are being developed where wellstream fluid to be measured is separated and alternately, separately (free water, oil-water emulsion, oil and gas) is run through one metering line with with determination of phases in accordance with the requirements of GOST P 8.615.
The proposed technical solution (reduction of flowmeters amount by two times, the use of a single measuring line for both liquid and gas) will significantly reduce cost of metering unit, significantly reduce operating costs, and as a result, improve the reliability of equipment operation, reliability of receiving information, multiply exceeding the requirements of GOST R 8.615 at watercut values exceeding fifty percent.
All these new technologies proposals for flow measurement are based on the application of Electronic Vortex Impulse Flowmeter (ERVIP) developed by our specialists, which allows to measure the flowrate of both liquid and gas.
We propose for our customers to pilot test our equipment, original technical solutions with the application of new technologies on the basis of the ERVIP flowmeter.

Purpose of measuring device
The metering units "Sputnik-Massomer HT.1" (hereinafter referred to as units) are intended for metering mass and mass flow rate of a wellstream liquid (crude oil) in the oil-gas-water mixture, mass and mass flow rate of liquid without water (oil), volume and volume flow rate of associated gas at standard conditions.
Description of measuring instrument
The operation principle of the units is based on measurements of mass and mass flow rate of the well fluid (crude oil) in the oil and gas mixture, the mass and mass flow rate of the liquid without water (oil), volume and volumetric flow rate of associated gas at standard conditions after separation
The units consist of control block (hereinafter - BKU) and technological block (hereinafter - BT).
The units can be manufactured in both fixed and mobile (single well) modifications. During manufacturing units in the mobile modification, BT block (single well) and BKU control block are installed in the body of the trailer or car, or on the chassis of the trailer or car.
BKU control block includes a power cabinet, module of measurements and information processing (hereinafter - BIOI).
BT block, depending on the version, includes measuring instruments (hereinafter referred to as SI) of mass and mass flow rate of liquid and gas, volume gas flow meters in the gas line, water cut meter, pressure sensors, temperature, gas contamination, fire alarm and equipment: Protection against unauthorized access, separation vessel (hereinafter - ES), switching and control devices, pipes with shut-off and control valves.
Depending on the design, configuration of measuring instruments and equipment, the units are produced in four modifications:
- modification 1 - with a mass liquid flow meter, water cut meter in a liquid line and a mass gas flow meter in the gas line;
- modification 2 - with a mass liquid flow meter, without water cut meter in a liquid line and a mass gas flow meter in the gas line;
- modification 3 - with a mass liquid flow meter, water cut meter in a liquid line and a volume gas flow meter in the gas line;
- modification 4 - with a mass liquid flow meter, without water cut meter in a liquid line and a volume gas flow meter in the gas line;
Units of different modifications measure the mass and mass flow rate of the wellstream liquid, the mass and mass flow of dehydrated oil, the volume and volumetric flow rate of free gas at standard conditions in an automatic mode, taking into account:
– the values of water and oil density inputed in the BIOI data program and measured by standardized methods in laboratory conditions;
– pressure and temperature corrections of the fluid
– Fluid GOR
The list of basic measuring instruments which complement the units modifications is given in Table 1. The measuring instruments included in the unit are determined on the basis of the requirements from unit questionnaire or the technical specification from the customer.
