Switching manifolds are installed on SPUTNIK type metering stations, and are designed for manual and automatic switching of wells for metering. Bimetallic (i.e., two-layer) pipes with annealing and preliminary machining are used to manufacture wear-resistant PSM housings. The outer layer of these pipes is made of steel 20, and the inner layer is made of steel X12. This is greatly improves reliability and extends the life of the switchers.

Corrosion protection options:
- internal coating of the body with a two-component epoxy coating and oxy carbonitriding of the main units;
- manufacturing of the housing made of steel 12Х18N10T and oxy carbonitriding of the main units.
